Doing our bit in the fight against Covid-19

As the world comes together to fight Covid-19, community becomes key in keeping people safe and in good spirits. As a family factory with staff that have been with us for generations, community is an integral factor in the way we operate.

We’ve seen first hand the disruption, worry, and uncertainty the pandemic has caused and we’ve prioritised keeping our team and their families protected and safe, but we also wanted to help our local community, especially those at high risk of exposure.

So we’re putting our resources to good use. A number of our craftsmen and craftswomen have agreed to return to the factory to begin the production of face masks for frontline workers, carers and those in care homes and hospices in a bid to help protect them from the virus.

The Goral Factory will be producing 20,000 masks over the course of the next few weeks and donating them to those most in need.

Alongside a number of other businesses that are contributing in the fight against the pandemic, we’re doing what we can to help and hope everyone’s efforts from key workers, to those staying at home sees us pull through as a global community.
