Delivery Duty Paid

Whether you’ll need to pay import duties depends on your location and the details of your order. Since customs regulations vary by country, it’s important to understand the policies that apply to your region. Here’s how we handle duties and taxes for different locations:

Customers in the United Kingdom: Prepaid duties & taxes (full landed cost)

All import duties, taxes, and related charges are included in your checkout total. This means you won’t be asked to pay anything extra upon delivery, the price you see is the price you pay.

Customers in the USA: Duties and taxes delivered at place (DAP)

Due to the removal of the de minimis exemption, all orders from September will be shipped under Delivered At Place (DAP) terms. This means that you are responsible for paying duties and taxes upon delivery. We recommend checking your local customs policies to understand any fees that may apply when your order arrives.

Orders scheduled for delivery before September are being processed as Delivered Duties Paid (DDP). This means duties and taxes were included in your order total, and no further payment will be required on delivery.

Customers in all other countries: Duties presented at checkout via SWAP Commerce

For customers outside the UK and US, GORAL ships from the UK and offers a duties-paid service through our international distribution partner, SWAP Commerce.

When you select your shipping region at checkout, all applicable duties and taxes will be clearly presented. Once paid, your order will ship as a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) package, meaning:

You won’t face unexpected charges on delivery
There should be no customs delays
If further information is needed, customs authorities will typically contact you via the email address used to place your order

Important Notice on Returns

If a package is refused and returned to GORAL due to unpaid duties or lack of response to customs, any return shipping costs, taxes, or duties we incur will be deducted from your refund.
