How do they fit?

The shoes fit large to size due to an unlined nature, we recommend to size down half a size. We have both regular (D) and wide (EE) widths available.

As a lace up style, you can create a personalised fit.

As an unlined shoe they can require a longer break-in period, however, once broken in they will become extremely comfortable and conform to your foot's natural shape.

Horween’s Chromexcel leather is a combination tanned leather that undergoes at least 89 separate production processes and takes 28 working days to complete. The combination tanning process not only enhances durability but also gives it a rich, dynamic look. The pull-up quality allows it to develop a unique patina over time, making each piece distinct. This refined ruggedness adds to its charm, as the creases and marks tell the story of wear and use, creating a sneaker that only gets better with age.

What Makes SMUGS Stand Out?

CLICKING

CLOSING

LASTING

Very well made, only one nit to pick

These appear to be made very well. I also have the MUGS and they are fantastic with the shearling wool, though the wool wasn't completely even thinkness wise.

The Smugs only downside is the rear of the upper is VERY VERY still and takes a lot of pain and time to break in, it's still not there in fact. Would be nice if that was a tumbled leather I think. I'm hoping it gets softer soon as right now I can only wear them for 3-4 hours at a time. The rest of the shoe is very comfortable though, and they look GREAT!

These are some good shoes!

Almost perfect

The fit is great on length and width. My only issue is on the right foot the base of the tongue edges are very thick and rub on my big toe and pinky toe. The left foot does not have this issue. I would like to see these in a low cut sneaker as well and would buy again.
