MEET THE MAKERS: ANNA

FACTORY PLANNING / ADMIN

3 YEARS AT GORAL & SON

Meet Anna, part of the planning and admin team, she's responsible for putting orders in to production, managing production deadlines and making sure everything gets packed and dispatched properly.

Earlier this week we sat down with her to discuss her role at Goral & Son and what she enjoys about working here.

"I came to work at Goral & Son after working for a logistics company, the job was slow paced, quite dull and kept me stuck at a desk all day, I wanted to change things up and try something more hands on but still wanted to be able to put my experience to good use. When I heard about the vacancies at Goral & Son I was intrigued as it sounded like it would be a great change of pace.

I started out packing uppers for the private label jobs and then moved to helping out managing production and deliveries when another member of staff went on maternity leave, from there I was promoted to take on the planning and admin for the GORAL brand, whilst still helping out on other stuff when things get busier.

I find the job very interesting and exciting as everyday I feel like I am learning new skills and learning more about how the business operates, things are constantly changing which offers a challenge and keeps me on my toes.

When I'm not at work I like to go running with friends or settle down with a good book."
