These Japanese leather sneakers are made from Kogashi leather from the Tochigi tannery. The hides are pit-tanned with vegetable tannins over months,most modern leather is chrome-tanned in under a day.
Because it's vegetable tanned, the leather changes. It darkens and softens with wear and takes the shape of your foot, until the pair is unmistakably yours.
A simple silhouette with subtle logo branding to the tongue. Handmade in our workshop in Sheffield, England, and Blake stitch constructed, so when the sole wears through, it's resoled through Rebuild+ rather than replaced.
