The Bloodline - Our Black Friday campaign

At GORAL, we know we’re a small brand and we see that as our strength. It allows us to focus on what truly defines us, our craftsmanship and the community that supports us. As we began planning for Black Friday, we wanted to do something that reflected both. Creating a line in Blood Core leather came naturally, it’s been one of the highlights of 2025 and has really resonated with our customers (plus it has a nice ring to it, right? Blood Core Black Friday), but we didn’t just want to release new styles, we wanted to tell a story.

That’s how The Bloodline campaign idea came to life, connecting the people who make our shoes to the people who wear them. And it became clear that the only way to tell that story authentically was to meet those people face to face, the loyal customers who live in GORAL every day. We invited three of our most dedicated customers, Nathan, Sean, and Ethan, to Sheffield for a studio shoot. Each of them has worn GORAL for years, with some owning over twenty pairs (big up to Sean, we need to see how he stores them all!). On the day, each styled our limited Blood Core releases, the SAMARA, BASLOW, and Mellor II, in their own way. It was amazing as a team to see the versatility of the Blood Core range and hear how they wear their GORALs in everyday life.

You’re probably wondering what makes the Bloodline styles unique for Black Friday? Beyond being crafted in Blood Core leather for the first time, each pair is detailed with red stitching and a red foil logo on the insole, making them truly limited and exclusive. These details will never be released in this way again, a one-of-a-kind piece for any collector.

Over the coming days, we’ll be sharing interviews from the shoot, starting with Nathan, a long-time supporter who’s collected ten pairs of GORALs over the past three years. From his favourite styles to his take on the Blood Core collection, Nathan’s story perfectly captures what makes our community so special.

We should be honest here, this shoot was a last-minute idea. We are incredibly grateful to Nathan, Sean, and Ethan for helping us pull it together. The day turned out to be more than we could have imagined. As we share the campaign over the coming days, we hope you’ll see that The Bloodline is about more than a collection, it’s about the connection between our craft, our customers, and the community we love growing.
